Angela & Aurelio's wedding truly was one that I will never forget! It was the perfect mix of class and beauty, and it was such a fun day to capture and celebrate with the two of them!! We started the day with getting ready photos of both the bride & groom. Luckily Angela had wanted a second shooter for the wedding, so we were able to split up and my second shooter went with Aurelio and I stayed with Angela! She was seriously glowing in her new bridal makeup and hair and I could not wait to see Aurelio's reaction to her dress- needless to say it did not disappoint during the first look photos. After the first look we were able to do photos of just the two of them and then bridesmaids & groomsmen. Once we were done with those groupings, it was time to go to the chapel for their wedding!!
The church that they got married in was something you'd see in Europe, it was stunning! The lighting inside the church was so beautiful and it was seriously such an honor to photograph the entire ceremony. You could see so many family members just beaming with how excited they were to see these two get married. We were able to do family photos and more photos of just the two of them before we headed to the beach for sunset photos. We went to Sunset Cliffs for photos of just the two of them with some family as well. They had rented out a trolley for their wedding day and it took us everywhere we needed to go for the wedding! Sunset Cliffs was pretty crowded for a Saturday, but we were able to get SO many different shots still and of course the big cliff photos.
Once we were done at the beach we headed back for cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception portion of the evening. It was seriously just one big party! They even hired out Top Gun impersonators for photos and dancing with everyone, it was hilarious. We were able to eat canolis, have gelato, and capture so many fun moments while people were hitting the dance floor. It was one of those weddings where you could tell people did not want the night to end. It was such an honor working with Angela & Aurelio for their engagements and especially their special day, I will forever be obsessed with how their photos turned out!
