Annie & Reese were seriously such a joy to work with throughout their engagement photos and their wedding day, and their photos are evident of just how fun the whole day was! We started the day at the Newport Beach temple, it was a cloudy day with intermittent rain, but we weren't going to let that stop us from having such a beautiful day! They exited the temple surrounded by their friends and family celebrating them, and then went straight to the front of the temple to do the big group photos that I like to get with wedding parties. Everyone was just so excited for the two of them and the energy was amazing! We then moved on to family photos and then photos of just Annie & Reese around the temple. Since it was cloudy, we literally could go anywhere on the temple grounds and the photos had perfect lighting. We then decided to head down to the beach and go to 3 Arch Bay for more photos of the two of them. Luckily the tide was low, so we were able to do lots of photos on the beach and the rocks, and the rain even held off for us!
For the reception portion of the evening they had it in Annie's family backyard and we were able to get detail shots of the entire backyard before the rain came. It rained pretty much through the entire evening and then let up for the dancing portion! They were such great sports the entire night and didn't let the rain stop them from celebrating their special day. We did dinner, cake cutting, and her brothers were MCing the entire event! We then moved on to the dancing portion of the evening and it was seriously so fun to capture. Their family even surprised them with a dance number to "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" by Starship, it was awesome! For their send off we had everyone gather at the front door and we threw confetti as they ran off to their getaway car. It was one of the funnest wedding groups and I am so obsessed with how their photos turned out! 10/10 wedding day!
